Course overview
The course is designed to equip new and experienced workers with fundamental safety knowledge for working on construction sites.
Key topics covered include:
Health & safety responsibilities for both employers and employees.
Hazard identification and risk assessments.
Manual handling and working at heights.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Fire safety, emergency procedures, and environmental awareness
Package includes: Health and safety awareness course, HS&E Test & Green Labourers CSCS Card Application.
Health and safety awareness course includes 25 multiple choice questions on paper based test.
Health Safety and Environment test for operatives includes 50 multiple choice questions on visual and audio recorded computer test.
The Operatives test ensures workers have a minimum level of health, safety and environmental awareness before going on site. This test covers the following five core knowledge areas:
Working environment
Occupational health
Safety
High risk activities
Specialist
The pass mark for the Operatives test is 45 out of 50 questions (90%). You have 45 minutes to complete, with options of voice over headset for questions to be read to you. We would advise purchasing the The HS&E test mobile app for operatives and specialists, currently £6.99 with most up to date questions.
