National Plant Operators Registration Scheme Limited (NPORS) is one of the UK’s leading accrediting bodies for construction recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland (HSENI). NPORS also work in the following sectors; Industrial, Construction, Utilities, Warehousing and Distribution, Agricultural, Ports and Marine.
The main objective of NPORS is to allow Accredited Training Providers a flexible approach to meet the needs of the employer to help and assist in providing an adequately trained workforce within the UK.
NPORS are recognised by Build UK as an alternative to the CPCS Card.
These certificates can be issued with a restriction per category, or with a restriction per company and can also have varying expiry dates from 2 to 5 years.
The NPORS Operator Card is a record of the training or assessment an individual has undertaken that proves their ability to safely operate an item of plant machinery/equipment. Registration with NPORS lasts for three or five years from the date of first initial test unless you obtain the NPORS CSCS trained operator card which last 2 years. Always in line with industry standards, ensuring that your training is always up to date and relevant.
